How to install command line tools 14 on sonoma

I upgraded to sonoma and CLT to 15, which was a mistake, since clang15 has lot of problems compiling packages that I need.

When I try to install CLT 14.3.1, it says my os is too new and it wont allow me to install it.

Actually CLT 14 should work on sonoma, but it just wont allow me to install.

Is there some way to over ride this restriction ?

Xcode 14 and its tools are not compatible at all with Sonoma.
