M macbook123 macrumors 68000 Original poster Feb 11, 2006 1,869 85 Nov 27, 2014 #4 Thanks. It tells me there are items purchase on the iPad that are not in iTunes yet. How do I move them over? Just do a sync? Also, oddly, iTunes claims 8.55 GB on the iPad are free, but the iPad says only 600 MB are free.

M macbook123 macrumors 68000 Original poster Feb 11, 2006 1,869 85 Nov 27, 2014 #6 Thanks. There's more cryptic stuff during the install: "You have changed the settings for the iPad Oliver Zahns iPad. Would you like to apply these changes?" What does this mean? What should I do?

Then I restart the iPad (because it was stuck forever) and now it needs to be restored to factory settings or updated. Which should I chose?
