hi everyone!
im glad to enroll with u guys and hope benefit and be beneficial ?

my problem is that i wanna run java codes from my mac and i have read that the mac Computers are already have it? is that true or a rumor?

if so, describe how to run the codes by the terminal

thanks :)

All Macs ship with a java runtime on them. You can compile and run java using the normal commands: javac to compile and java to execute.

thanks guys for your responses but hen i save the code in the EditText prog it dosent save as java extension.
how could i save it as that?

I recommend using text wrangler (free), BBEDIT (not free) if you plan on doing any java development. Both are more powerful text editor's then the supplied text edit program.

There's also textamte I like that a lot but it has not see any upgrades in years and I'm not sure if any activity is going on with that. While a capable text editor the cost is such that you may not want to throw your money away at a product that is no longer being developed.

i wanna thank all of u guys
i used the text wrangler n finally worked with me :) .
