How to install Leopard via a USB Drive

Hello. I'm wondering how I can take a leopard install dmg and install leopard onto my Macbook's HDD by using a 8 GB USB Flash Drive. Is there anyway I can do this?

Ok, but then how to I boot from it? Do I just hold option at start up and it'll boot from it once I select it?

You may need to use terminal with the 'bless' command to make it bootable, but I'm not sure. I think using restore from disk utility will make it bootable without that extra step.

yeah once you do what Krafty said, you would just boot from it by holding the option button and choose the usb drive.. and then it should boot into the installer.
