How to install programs from App store

How do you install apps bought from the app store on my mac book pro on my desktop mac which does not have the app store (running Leopard)

You might be able to copy them, but those applications normally require 10.6.6 at least. Why don't you install 10.6 onto the desktop Mac?

Thanks for that. Actually was going to order 10.6 tonight but went thru some disks and actually had snow leopard. All installed and now have apps store where I can downloaded previous purchases
