How to install tiger on non-FW clamshell?

Hi folks,

I am interested in installing tiger onto my non-FW clamshell. Okay so basically I have 10.3.9 running right now. So basically I think that:

1) Download XPostFacto onto my current desktop running 10.3.9
2) Connect my external DVD drive through the USB port of the iBook
3) Put disc of Tiger into it
4) Click install onto the desktop and watch Tiger install onto the hard drive?

Presume that I got this right?
