How to install to a separate hard drive?

I have a Mac Pro with two hard drives. The second one is not used and is formatted without any data. I want to install on the second hard drive. Which part of the installation process do I choose the second hard drive? I also want my first hard drive with SL to be my main boot up hard drive. Thanks!
