I read that in order to install windows 7 from USB on my Macbook Air I need to skip this step:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
(my screenshot) but as you can see it is impossible to skip the step of installation since I can't partition the hard drive (the flash drive) unlike from what I saw here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmA-9apQ6kg where they just partition, actually skip the step above and installing Windows from boot.

I can't believe I'm the first one trying to install Windows from USB drive on Macbook Air. Can I partition with a different tool and than install? If so what tool? No boot camp for download is available. Please help.

Do you have the windows installation file on the USB as a DMG file? If so it should recognize it as a disk, and if not you can copy it onto your desktop and should be able to link to it.

Did you try the steps outlined in this thread?

nevermind, I first read you were trying to run from the USB.
