how to install windows 7

I try installing windows 7 on my mac it installs the the features but it won't complete the installation once the mac restarts and the windows loads the screen just becomes black and won't do anything. I need help Badly.

Did you follow the steps laid out in any of the numerous tutorials available?

I did i tried 30 videos and like 15 websites but i finally installed windows vista and I'm going to wait and upgrade to windows 8

What Mac are you trying to install W7 on?

Some macs (like my 2009 i7 iMac) require that you load a flash drive in a certain way and have that flash drive plugged in when booting to the Windows installer.
