How to install Windows Media Player on a Mac?

I've downloaded it of Windows website, but nothing happens. What to do?

You need Flip4Mac, not WMP.

Don't use it. Microsoft makes crappy products on the Mac. Do you need to play WMV movie files? Then download Perian, it lets you play them in Quicktime.

Perian and Flip4mac are both good products and are far better than using wmp for the mac. That application is terrible.
