I have a ipad 1 that has been sitting around for a wile and I want to integrate it into my dual screen macbookpro setup. I know tons of geniuses (no not the apple imployies) are just waiting for a question like this so go wild with it any ideas?

A few suggestions:

1) Pages documents can be created on the ipad and synced to your Macs

2) Photos taken can also be integrated into you're setup

3) The App store is your friend...Check for apps that correspond to the type of work you do, and check that they can also use the itunes sync method...A lot of them do so out of the box..Pages, Numbers etc.

Sage advice indeed.

Yes, this is what I do. MBP usually on the sofa, but ipads when I go out e.g. to board meetings. Mail, PDF documents, reminders, alarm and calendar all just work. I haven't got to Pages yet, might give that a try...

I use Pages all the time on my iPad...I often copy things as Pages documents, then sync them over...It's an invaluable tool...OP: You might want to take a look at Goodreader too...It's the Swiss Army knife for file transfer,PDF edit and copy and a lot more...It's in the app store too.

Any iPad stands.

Thank you so much for all your great advise I knew this would be the best place to get ideas. I will defiantly give air display and pages a try. Mean while any good desktop stands (preferably cheap):apple:
