How to jailbreak 3GS 4.0?

I upgraded normally, and wasn't jailbroken before. (Well, I was on like...3.0, but then I just DFU restored/Updated).

no, there is still no way if you haven't jailbroken it before and if you don't have your SHSH blobs

Read the Dev Team's blog, twitter accounts, forum threads and you will find that the iOS 4.0 Jailbreak has not been released yet.

Just another, "When will it be out thread?"

Yes, you can jailbreak it.

Three requirements:

1) old bootrom
2) SHSH saved on saurik's servers
3) lots of patience.

If you have all three, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

I must be way off because when I searched (literally took less than a minute) I only found like 3 posts about it. Not including using Google which give me About 4,240,000 results (0.44 seconds)....

4,239,970 of which are completely unrelated or are just other people asking the same question. The answer is what I posted previously. Yes, you can jailbreak a 3GS running 4.0 if you have the older bootrom and an SHSH saved onto saurik's servers.

IF you have SHSH's saved and not everyone does.
And according to his post he doesnt if he was never even JB before.
