Hi. I was wondering if you can help me with a jailbreaking issue. Basically I'm running 4.1 on a second gen iPod touch. The thing is I've never jailbroken before and want to use jailbreakme.com to do it so I don't mess anything up. Problem is that can only do up to 4.01 software. So I try to restore to the 4.0 firmware but an error comes up. Instead I put the iPod in recovery mode and Desiree original firmware. Surely this will work and just take it back to the 2.2 software it came with? Then I just have to upgrade to the 4.0 and then jailbreak. But no, when it's done its still the 4.1 software. I don't get it?
