Hello, I recently just brought a new iPhone 4 that lucky came with ios version 4.0.2 and baseband 1.59.00.

As far as I know, it is jailbreak and unlockable right ?

I need help with the steps I need to jailbreak and unlock it. Because I don't want to mess it up myself and ruined the good baseband(Which I did before).

Please Help ?

Thank you very much. :D

1. Wait until Pwnage Tool for 4.1 is out. (they got it working today, but it's not released yet)
2. Upgrade to 4.1 jailbroken with Pwnage Tool, preserving the baseband.
3. Install Ultrasn0w.

Oh I didn't know ios 4.0.2 isn't jailbreakable yet.

Isn't there a way to update to 4.1 without updating baseband already ?

Thank you for the answer.

Use Tiny Umbrella to update to 4.1 but keep 1.59.xx baseband. Then Greenpois0n to jailbreak, Ultrasn0w to unlock.

You can JB 4.0.2 with Limera1n. Afterward, use Ultrasn0w through Cydia to unlock.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I was able to successfully jailbreak and unlock the phone.

Thanks everyone ! :D
