Hello everyone,

I'm interested in jailbreaking my iPod touch 2g to make it perform in iOS 4 exactly like a 3g. I don't want to see Cydia, I don't want any extra preference panes, and I don't want a single trace of anything other than iOS 4.

So, how do I do this?

Go to itunes, then click update to iOS4

That won't enable the "3G-only" features though. The OP, as far as I can tell, wants to remove the restrictions but doesn't need Cydia etc.
