iPod touch How to Jailbreak jailbroken iTouch 2g 2.2.1

Sorry I am not up to date with jailbreaking.
I jailbroke my ipod touch 2g with firmwire 2.2.1
I want to update the firmware to 4.2.1 and jailbreak it.

Do I have to unjailbreak it, update it, then rejailbreak?
Or can I just update it while it is still jailbroken?

You must restore it via iTunes to iOS 4.2.1 or 3.1.3 and rejailbreak it.

It shouldn't. You could click the update button instead. That should downloaded 4.2.1, then restore your iPod to 4.2.1.

Click Update (updates jailbroken 2.2.1 iTouch to 4.2.1)?
Click Restore?
Then Jailbreak with greenpois0n?
