Before any work I did, this iPhone 3GS was on iOS 4.3.5. This phone is a new one from Apple.
I'm trying to JB this iPhone for a friend. I learned I needed to install the iOS for the iPad to do so. And I have another friend helping...Well we nearly bricked it. After several attempts to kick it out of Recovery, I got the phone restored and working. But I'm left with iOS 4.1 with BB 05.16.02.
How shall I proceed to JB this device? I appreciate any guidance as I'm dangerous and fearful I'll brick this thing. Thank you.
