How to JB/Unlock 3.1.3 (clean) unactivated 3G?

Ok, after much consternation, and some help of forum folks, I was able to unbrick and get back to an unactivated 3.1.3 on my 3G. It's not jailbroken or anything. What is the best way to jb/unlock so I can sell this thing?

update to 4.0. redsn0w to jailbreak. ultrasn0w to unlock
