So I have a fairly simply desk, and the only thing on it is a lamp and my MBP. The charger sits on the floor and the card always seems to fall to the floor. I can't imagine I'm the only one with this problem. Anyone have some good solutions?

Fix a screw-eye into the edge of the desk and open it up just enough with pliers to slip the cord into it. If you get the right size of eye, the plug will not fall through.

I have a magnet on my desk's surface held on with double stick tape. The magsafe connector sits on it flawlessly.

You'd need quite a thin edge to use those binder clips!

The products designed specifically for cord management get my vote. But, if you don't want to stick something to the desk, use a flat paper weight, like a small (but heavy) floor tile.

Checking Staples.com, they come large enough for a 1" capacity, so they'd work for a desk up to an inch thick, I imagine.
