I sold my iPhone 4 on eBay. I'm shipping it out this morning and just restored to factory settings. I turned the phone on to make sure the restore worked and it started activating. I want to make sure it doesn't do this when the buyer uses it. Should I call Verizon?

Lol what? CDMA phones are tied to your account by IMEI. Buy a new phone to put on your phone number or have fun with someone else using your service.

I did buy a new phone already. I've had the iPhone 5 for a couple weeks now. I haven't turned on my old iPhone 4 until this morning. I did the factory reset, then when I went to check it, the signal came up and showed I had several bars and 3G on both phones. Not sure why the "lol" ....

Check with Verizon your iPhone 4 is still not tied to your account.
