How to keep Symlinks in the Finder's Favorites

Most of my data is on the HD and I've just symlinked these folders to the home folder on the SSD which works absolutely fine, except that the Finder throws them out of the Favorites bar once they become (temporarily) unavailable and also the icons do not work.

If you have a solution for this, please tell me.
