Is there a way to know if my Eufy indoor camera is set to "active" and recording when i leave the geofencing "home area"?
Is there a way for the phone to notify me for this?

When i check the homekit app, under my favorite camera, all i can see is a screenshot preview and no icon or something that shows me that the camera is set to active and recording when motion is noticed.

Yes, turn on notifications within the home app for the cameras

The notifications are already set to "on".

Note that im NOT talking about getting notifications for motions or recordings, im talking about when leaving home, i want to know that the camera is set to active and ready to record video, since when home i have them set to off (and stream + recording when im not home)

That‘s exactly what he is talking about. You can get notifications, wenn the camera changes its status, too. And you can see the status in the camera screenshot. Blue dot in the upper right hand corner: you are at home. Red: You are not at home.

oh I see. That explains it. For me I always had a blue dot. Even when I’m not at home. And probably that’s why I never get a notification when I am not home. What do I need to enable this? I have HomeKit enabled in GPS settings. Anything else I need to have activated?

Home App:

Home settings, Cameras and doorbells, chose your camera from ‘allow notifications from:, chose your preferred options (Specifically status change notifications)
