How to lengthen the ring time?

Does anyone know how to lengthen the ring time on an iPhone 4S? My phone rings for about 17 sec before going to voice mail. I just need to lengthen this by about 5 seconds.

Why would you need to lengthen this?

Also this is not something you can do on the phone, your wireless provider would have to adjust it. Call them.

Agreed, no way to do this on the phone itself

Its a carrier setting.
I dont think they will change it or make it longer even if you asked them.

thanks for the help

just got off the phone with AT&T and was able to lengthen an extra 5 seconds. For those who do have AT&T, the max time is 30 seconds.
