How to lock apps

Is there any app that will let me password portect apps, i used to have one but cant find it now. I am trying to lock my photos

This app works great, I have it on my iPad -- definitely fits OP's needs as well.

This app requires you to import the photos isnt there anything that would just lock the photos app
