How to lock keyboard so it cannot be used

I was wondering, if anyone has a application to make the keyboard lock. Thanks for any help!

You could disconnect it...

A quick Google search reveals no easy way to do this via software.

And if you were to lock the keyboard via software and the machine goes to sleep how would you wake it up?

I remembered seeing this awhile ago, and you just reminded me. let's you lock out the keyboard and darkens the screen (not sure if that is what you want also though) in order to clean it. Press command-Q to restore function.

My computer wakes up when I click the mouse... or press the power button...
