New to Apple and having never burned a disc in Snow Leopard, I'd like to ask how to make a copy of my of OSX discs (which I assume are DVDs and thus requiring DVD-Rs) and of my VMWare Fusion 3 disc (a CD-ROM and so I assume requiring a CD-R).

Is it merely as simple as dragging the contents of the disc on my Mac HD, then right clicking the folders and clicking "Burn" to burn it onto the recordable discs? Or will there be copyright restrictions?

Thank you for your help.

It should also be noted that you will need "dual-layer" DVD blanks to copy the OS X System disks to. I don't believe they can be copied to single-layer (4.7gig) DVDs.

I'd suggest Verbatim blanks.
