How to make a picture look better

I have pictures on my iPhone 3gs that I took when I was on vacation. So, when i uploaded them to my computer but they look sort of blurry and not great quality. Is there any way I can make them look better on my computer? I have a Mac Book Air 13 inch.

The best you can do is crop or play with the color balances. You cannot add image quality to an image.
