I am racking my brain trying to figure out what files are needed on a USB stick to allow me to install a fresh copy of Lion on my 2010 MBA.

Using the disk utility I formatted the USB stick "Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and created GUID Partition table so that it would be bootable. I copied all the files from the Lion image onto the stick with no luck.

This is how my stick looks:

Another thing that blew me away is when I insert the Apple USB disk that was included with my MBA, the disk utility thinks its a 8GB DVD?

Can I erase the Snow Leopard install on that stick and replace it with Lion? :D
