how can i make an alias for all of the files in a folder?
is there a way to do this as a batch? the folder in question
has way too many files to do by hand.

thanks,
BabaG

Just select them and use File->Make Alias or drag the files to the source you want the aliases and hold either option, control, shift or a combination of those until the icon shows an arrow to create an Alias or a Plus to create a copy.

It's Option+Command while dragging.
