Ok heres my plan of how to make a really large apple tablet computer.

1) Obtain 17" or 20" iMac G5
2)Get a custom made battery to fit onto the back of the computer (possibly VESA mounted)
3)Somehow mount a handle on the battery
4) Have some kind of touch screen overlay over the LCD that will be combadible with a stylus.

Tada you have the worlds largest and most powerful tablet computer!!

Cool

Cool Idea, and I hope it works out for you, If it does, make sure you post how you did it I have a feeling i'm not the only one who would want one to.
That being said, just from the pictures I have seen of the insides it looks pretty tight in there, and converting a desktop into a portable will take ALOT of power, plus remember you need to put an inverter in the computer somewhere to, AC/DC. A better idea might be to try to convert a powerbook/iBook. That way you don't have to worry about the power requirments, just how to flip the screen to be facing out, not in.
Well i guess thats my 2 cents
