How to make books appear individually in the Books library, instead of grouped as a series?

It used to be that all the books would just be listed individually in your library, now they’re all grouped as series, including books you don’t own! I find it confusing and cluttered. It’s bothered me for years and I’d love to know how to fix it. Thanks :)

Which view are you in when you see this? I see mine individually in the Library view, not in Collections.
