I transferred my library from one Mac to another. On the older Mac (Yosemite) the Automatically Add To iTunes folder would add all movies into the same folder (/$itunes/Movies/). But now on the new Mac (High Sierra) is adds the movies into their own subfolders ($itunes/Movies/Great Action Movie/). How do I undo this? I remember this happened to me when I first set up iTunes a long time ago, so I don't think it's simply the difference between old and new versions of iTunes.

For reference on the old Mac I had BOTH organize and copy checked. I have tried unchecking "Keep Organized" on the new setup and it still created a sub folder when using Automatically Add To iTunes folder.

Uncheck "Keep iTunes Media folder organised" in Advanced Preferences.
You will need to manually reorder your files, though.
