My leopards startups are insanely slow and i need to make them faster, i have used tinkertools and mainmenu, but none have help. what should i do?

I would say backup your files, and do a fresh install of Leopard. That usually makes everything faster.
 
It depends what you call slow, I find leopard isn't slow to start up, only 20 seconds if that, but i just sit back and have another sip of coffee :) so it's usually feels a while,
Using mainmenu should keep your system in tip top condition :D
 
Do you have lots of folders and documents or whatever spread across your desktop ?

That's the most common method of slowing down Leopard.

Should start up in 30-40 seconds.

Is your hard disk dying ??
