My question is basically as in the title description: I'd like to have fullscreen (Lion) applications open in fullscreen by default, which they currently refuse to do - compelling me to click and wait for them to enlarge every time they're opened... I imagine they'd remember to stay enlarged were I to check 'restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps' in the general system preferences, but this is one feature of Lion I simply refuse to use (I can't stand having my screen cluttered with the often very large documents on which I work every time I open my word processor, for a start!)...

Is there any way to force fullscreen applications to open AS fullscreen applications, then, without letting the OS randomly open each and every file I've recently worked on?
