How to make PARTILLY copied folder visible, accessible and readable?

My (TM) folder is 7.4TB.
I got 10 out of 49 backups copied (this time in Mojave, next try with fresh installed Catalina).

How do I get access to that folder in Finder?
It is not possible to copy each TM backup by itself?

Surely Apple has Support Article on this?
