i just got my 17 inch unibody macbook pro and i wanted to know if there is any software out there which i can use to make the apple logo pulse with the bass in songs or just make it pulse on its own.

the apple logo is lit via the backlight in your screen.

I read about a mod that changes the apple logo with an lcd screen and you can use it as another screen per say.

I think you can do it for the keyboard though via an iTunes extension that I can't remember the name of.
But to have the Apple blinking, you wuld have to have your screen blinking too as pointed out by DoFoT9
