Just upgraded to MacOS Ventura and it did kept my solid purple color wallpaper on my actual desktop.

But when I turn ON my MacBook, on the sign in screen, I get the default Ventura bright orange looking wallpaper on the sign in screen in which to me personally, looks "tacky."

I know on the iPhones, you can have the same background image wallpapers on BOTH the Lock Screen and on the Home Screen.

But looks like on the MacOS, this is not possible unless there is a way to modify some system files.

I wish there was a way to have my solid purple color on the Sign In screen the same way I have it set on my Desktop.

If you don't have FileVault enabled, you can make the login screen use your wallpaper by changing your wallpaper to something else, then changing it back to the one you want, then logging out and logging back in again. If you restart your machine you should now see your wallpaper on the login screen.

If FileVault is enabled, I don't believe there is a way to set the login screen wallpaper without some modifications because the login screen is loaded before the OS actually fully boots.

I don’t want to turn off FileVault. No way. That’s got to be On.

No worries. I’ll just stick to the way it is.
