I just got a new iMac.

I have Time Machine backups of two iPhoto Library files, one of which I've flawlessly copied to my new iMac, everything is in working order and awesome. Now I have an additional iPhoto Library from another computer that I'd like to add.

How should I go about doing this? I fear that if I simply drag-n-drop the Library file into iPhoto I'll get duplicates (the Original/Modified folders) and lose all the albums, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Also, it should be noted that these are Time Machine backups. Is there a way to launch into Time Machine, select the library and copy into the existing library?

Thanks again for your help!

A product like iPhoto Library Manager will let you "merge" two libraries. Works great. There is also iPhoto Buddy which has a good reputation, though I have not used it, so can't comment one way or the other. Now, about the time machine issue, I'm not so sure. Check out the software and see what it says.
