How to minimize all the other apps, kc?

Hi

Is there a way to minimize all the other apps, for instance say I had a finder window open (and I'm doing this and that), and I want to quickly minimize all the other apps/open windows (apart form the one I'm using) with out doing it manually (like squeezing the mac mouse and an clicking minimize) ?

Is there a way to do that?

Look under the application's menu e.g., the Finder menu. See the Hide others?

Thanks, I know that one already its kind of the same except it hides the apps (though its easier enough to get them up again). It just crossed my mind about minimizing all of the ones your not using etc
