How to modify contact image appears when calling/receiving from iPhone 3G?

I've seen this in a lot of Apple Commercials and on their website and would like to know how to do this myself? Any thoughts or Have step by step instructions?

if you want the little picture, add/edit the photo in address book/outlook (or whatever you use for contacts on a pc)

if you want a large, fullscreen picture, add/edit the picture from the phone itself
