I know you can get a free credit report once a year from the three credit bureaus, but being my first time doing such I thing I got my report from all three at the same time .

I know I should have checked one at a time every 4 months or so, but its to late now so I have to wait till next december before I can check again.

So what would be the best way to check my credit report to make sure there are no accounts I don't know about, I don't really care about my credit score.

I think you may be being a just a little paranoid here, but I understand that some people worry about such things.

There are several credit monitoring services out there (google it), and also several credit cards offer this service for a small monthly fee.:)

yea im just wondering what people around here use, and im not looking for a monthly service, just a one time thing like a semiannual check up

Yea I guess I am a little paranoid, I'm still 18 years old, and sometimes all those stolen identity horror stories get to you

I like using MyFico for checking and/or monitoring my credit.
