How to move a file to previous window?

I'm looking for an easier way to bring a file to the previous path.

example: I have a folder named Books within the books folder I have another folder named Fiction that contains a pdf I want to bring to Books folder.

Books/Fiction/pdf I want to take the pdf back to books without creating another window.
