What's up all, I'm having difficulty moving the dock to my external display. I moved the task bar in the display panel (under system preferences) but this resulted in only the task bar being moved, not the dock. I've read that they should follow each other, i.e. both be on the notebook or both be on the external. As you can see in the attached picture, the task bar is gone but not the dock. Anyone know what's going on? Any help is appreciated.
edit: I seem to have found the answer on a different forum. I originally had the monitors arranged with my mbp below my external (because this is actually how I have it set up). Apparently the dock automatically defaults to the lower most display. In order to get the dock to show on my external, I had to position the mbp directly above the external in arrangement. Sorta strange; hope this helps anyone else with a similar problem.
