how to move files from windows partition to mac partition

using bootcamp, how can i get files from the windows partition to the mac partition without using an external HD?

While booted to Windows you can't, while booted to OSX it is as simple as navigating to the folder in Finder and drag and drop.

Or... you need to install MacDrive or some other third party software...
