I currently have about 4 screens worth of icons on my iPhone 6s. I'd like to re-organize them and would need to move several to another screen (ie - from screen 4 to the Home Screen). Can someone explain how to do that?

Thanks!
Bert

Tap and hold on the icon, then drag it to the screen and position you want it in? Is that what you’re asking for or am I missing something here?

Press icon you want to move until they shake and then drag it to where you want it to go and drop.

As above- but you can move more than just one app icon at a time.
Press & hold an icon until they all start wiggling, then continue holding that one icon down and use your other finger to select and drag another icon towards your first one. You can collect all of them if you want in one go. A number badge with increase as you collect more icons.
Then when you’ve collected the ones you want (without ever lifting your first finger) drag the lot over to another home page and they’ll come along for the ride. - then let go.

Just tried this using the "Tips" icon - It was on screen #2 so I held/dragged to the left to try moving it to Screen #1 (ie - the Home screen) ...... and I lost it altogether. The "Tips" icon has totally disappeared from my phone.

So, where did I go wrong? And how do I get the "Tips" icon back?

Thanks!

That sounds very strange. Try swiping down in the middle of your home screen and typing in Tips to make sure it's still on your phone.

Can you try get a screen recording or film yourself moving/losing icons somehow?

It’s in the App Library or got dropped onto another app which created a folder - and it would be in there.
Moving icons can often be crazy chaotic and tedious. They jump all around when you get near the edge of the screen.

Apple tips? Not a normal icon. Cannot be moved.
