How to move music from my Air to my M1 Mini?

Can anyone help? I have all of my music files from the Music folder on my current Air. I also have the library file. I've moved both over to my M1 Mini, placing the music files into the Music folder. I've also placed the library file there too. I have tried dragging the library file onto the music app and it doesn't do anything. How can I get the music app on my Mac mini to read my library? I don't want to have to add all of the music and recreate my playlists again! By the way, I don't use Apple Music.

1. Hold down the option key while you launch Music
2. Click Choose Library.
3. Choose the iTunes Library.itl file that you moved over from your Air

That ought to do it.
