How to move photos synced from Mac to "Recently Added" album

Okay, so here's the thing. I have over 5k photos in an album on my Mac computer simply called "photos". I see now that ios8 uses the album called "Recently Added" in place of the "Camera Roll". Is there an easy way to sync my 5k photos from my Mac to the "Recently Added" album on my 6+? Hope this made sense.

I can't shed any light, but reports from 8.1 beta users indicate that the camera roll is back. Most expect 8.1 to be released very soon, so the problem you're facing might evaporate with the next iOS update.
