How to move Spotify/Music Controls to top of Lock Screen?

I'm so annoyed that the music controls on the Lock Screen are at the bottom now. Is there any way to move them back to the top? Also, is there any way to turn off the album art feature? It makes me feel like it's 2009 and I'm using an iPod touch again.

First part no, second part yes, just tap on the album art and it will minimise
