I had an iPod I occasionally use to utilize Apps. It was great because the iPod didn't have any email accounts or contacts loaded. This way, I could avoid any App from scanning my contacts. Today I updated the software and now when I sign into the iPod it automatically downloads my emails and contact information. I did a complete restore and did not sign in. Unfortunately, once I sign in...auto fill, email, phone number, contacts, etc. It would not allow me to delete the email account (apple account),unless I entered another account. So the questions:
(1) Is there a way to delete emails from an iPod after you've signed in?
(2) Is there a way to delete all information within the Contacts on the iPod?

Done.

Format the iPod back to factory settings and don't sign in. Set it up as if you're going to give it away. Connect to Wi-Fi. Go to the App store and download the Apps you need. At this point you will have to log into your iTunes account, but it will not load or transfer any other info. Launch the Apps and that's it.
