Hi,
my provider allows me to officially unlock my 3GS but when I follow the instructions nothing is happening:

- I registered my IMEI at my provider unlock page (3 days ago)
- I put my iPhone in recovery mode and plug it to iTunes
- iTunes does not say that it can be unlocked

what am I doing wrong ?

I have ultrasnow installed, can this be the reason ?

cheers

That was the reason :) it's now officially unlocked.

The only issue is that I don't see my carrier logo, how can I fix it ?

I still have the old base band 04.26.08

You baseband doesn't matter anymore if you are official unlock. Make sure you are official unlock then try to update your firmware.

Do you have any tweaks that change the carrier logo?

Yes. Restore to whatever firmware you have blobs for.

hmm, I don't really feel like restoring and re-jailbreaking just for the carrier logo.

I actually reinstalled ultrasnow just to make the carrier logo appear again ;)

you can easily backup and restore all your jailbreak files using Pkgbackup or Xbackup paid or Appbackup free. Takes me about 20 minutes to update firmware and get all my jailbreak stuff back. but if that's to much trouble I understand.
